Introducing:

A VAMPIRE FOR CHRISTMAS.

Georgia doesn’t know she’s a Harmony. Jobless and about to behomeless, her heart sinks when a hand snatches the coat of her dreamsfrom the storefront window. Then she sees him staring at her reflection. . . the stalker.

Trevor Stenwood, a vampire and Arnhem Knight, is handsome, sophisticated, and tongue-tied every time he sees her. Sworn to protectthe supernaturals of the city, he’s fallen for a woman marked for deathby demons. How can he save her when she’s afraid of him?

At Christmas time in New York City, will love bloom in the snow?

It just went up on All Romance Ebooks.  So do you want to melt your snow and keep warm,

then go to:

Excerpt:

When the waiter arrived with menus, Georgia was dizzywith expectation.  She looked at her menu.  There were no prices and itwas hard to choose from so many delicious sounding meals.

“What are you having?”  She leaned toward Trevor.

“I was going to start with the lobster bisque and move on to the shrimp scampi.”

“That sounds good.  I’ll have the same.”

When the waiter returned, Trevor gave him the orders.  He waited until the man was out of hearing range.

“Georgia, you know you could have ordered anything.”

“I know.”  She gazed out the window.  Snow danced overthe waves.  Then snowflake and wave would touch as in a kiss and thesnow would be gone forever, absorbed into the water.

“May I move my seat so I can sit next to you?”

She thought about saying no, but the truth was she was ready for him to be closer.  “Okay.”

He moved the chair so he was exactly next to her andthey could see the same thing out the window.  “It’s sad, isn’t it?”

            “What?”

“The snowflake is so exquisite, but its life is soshort.  The ocean is eternal.  It loves the snowflake and when they meet.  .  .”

            “The snowflake dies.”  Georgia sighed.

“No, not at all.  The snowflake changes into water and becomes immortal.”

Georgia turned to face him.  They were so very close, his mouth above her lips, his eyes gazing deeply into hers.  She couldfeel him searching for some answer.  Then his lips possessed her mouthso gently, sweetly, as if to caress.  Georgia felt herself melting likethe snowflake touching the ocean wave.  She kissed him back.  Everykiss led to another.  She felt his arm steady her.  Her eyes were closed, as his finger brushed her cheek.

Happy Thanksgiving

In the United States, this is a holiday of feasting and being grateful for what we have.  I have a lot of be grateful for this year.  I have a wonderful family which increasing the population of my home in about an hour and a half.   It's going to be fun. I've made myself a promise not to over eat.  Seriously I have to watch the figure.

Yesterday, I earned my high blue belt in Thai Kickboxing.  It's always nerve-wracking for me when I have to perform in front of other people.  I'd much rather just talk over tea, but that's not how it's done in kickboxing.  You have to demonstrate that you know your stuff.  LOL

I'm also grateful to have a part-time job.  Most writers I know have a day job to pay the bills.  Even those that have written for years have found that it takes a lot of successful books, before an author is self-supporting.

Being published in romance changed my life this year.  I'm grateful to Tease Publishing LLC who published my sf/f/shapeshifter novella WHEN LOVE SURVIVES and my full length vampire romance novel THE STORMY LOVE LIFE OF LAURA CORDELAIS.  Both are up at http://www.allromanceebooks.com  that's All Romance Ebooks.   Next year, I'll go into print. Excited, again.

Right now I have the final proof for A VAMPIRE FOR CHRISTMAS.  It goes back tomorrow.  It's a novella about a particular vampire who is so tongue-tied when he meets the girl of his dreams he almost loses her, and she has a special kind of power.  I'm not telling. You'll just have to wait.

Even though, Thanksgiving is an American holiday, it's always good to feast and be grateful.  I wish you love.

Overwhelmed with Joy

Hi Everyone,

If things look a little discombobbled, it's because I am.  I came back from Albacon to the publishing of WHEN LOVE SURVIVES which is at http://www.allromanceebooks.com/product-whenlovesurvives-362921-143.html

Then I started doing interviews.  Then three days later I found out that my full length novel was accepted by Tease Publishing LLC as well as another novella for the holidays called A VAMPIRE FOR CHRISTMAS.  Woo hoo.  Now I'm trying to do everything I normally do, write blurbs and back cover for my novel and the novella for the tentative release in November.  My full length novel is THE STORMY LOVE LIFE OF LAURA CORDELAIS.

What I'm really overjoyed about is that the two novellas and the novel have characters that are friends.  I have my own vampire and supernatural universe so to speak.  By the way, my youngest daughter is getting married, so I'm in the throes of wedding planning as well.

So if you drop by and it seems crazy here. Yes, we have fallen down the rabbit hole.  Welcome, Alice!  LOL   Drop by anyway, I'm also leaving my email for those that need to get in touch. It's onlyladyknight@yahoo.com  Be sure to put FROM THE WEBSITE in the subject line or your message to me will disappear into the spam filter. A lot worse than a rabbit hole. Thanks.
