Hi Everyone, Right now I'm doing a lot of work. I have a dozen outlines for books, but one is in writing mode and that is Book 3 in the Arnhem Knights of New York series. I would have loved to say it's finished, but it's not. The history in it is immense! So is the romance! Getting used to another time and another country is quite the experience. I'm setting up my conferences. So far I have Confluence in Pittsburgh in August and Fall in Love with New England Romance Readers/Author Conference in October. Confluence is a science fiction and fantasy conference. Fall in Love with New England is the cozy and happy readers/authors conference with great panels, time to hang out with authors, make new friends, great booksigning, and fun events. If you love romance and want to hang out with us, be sure to register before it fills up. Here are their links: Confluence 2017: http://parsec-sff.org/confluence/ Fall in Love with New England: http://fallinlovewithnewengland.com/ I am trying to eliminate unnecessary sugar from my diet. It's hard. Have you read labels? In the US, we put sugar or corn syrup into almost everything. So i'm trying to eat fresher and have no desserts. (I will make an exception for the Fall in Love conference for a desert.) Right now I'm setting up Easter baskets for my grandchildren. How is everyone else? -Susan

Arisia is the largest science fiction conference in New England. Arisia is January 14-17 at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel, 425 Summer Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02210

At Arisia, I will be on panels, doing a booksigning, and a reading. I will have books on me for sale. Just ask. Here’s the schedule as I have it.

Friday, Jan. 14 9:30 PM Paine (room) How to be a Good Moderator

Sat., Jan. 15 11 AM Galleria (area) Autograph Session (one hour and 15 minutes)

Sun. , Jan. 16 9:30 AM Hale (room) Reading (I will have books for sale)

Sun., Jan. 16 12:30 PM Paine (room) Harry Potter & the Deadly Hallows

So if you’re in Boston be sure to drop by my signing or reading. I believe you have to be a member of the convention to attend the panels.

I was under the weather for part of Saturday but that didn't stop me as soon as I felt better I was writing. I wrote 3000 words, which roughly translate to 15 pages. Didn't feel up to exercising. Sunday was a day filled with church and family. I did take a nap when I got home. I wrote a bare 200 words.

Monday is a new day filled with promise. I'll exercise shortly and then I aim to write a 1000 or more. But right now I have a new goal three.

Goal three: I'm packing promo materials and prizes into a suitcase for Authors After Dark. I'm taking inventory at the same time to see what I have and what I still have to get. I have T-shirts and two lap writing desks, book covers to sign at the ebook signing, glass bead bracelets, keychains, lavender umbrellas. Beaded book thongs .

Buy I love doing this kind of stuff. It gets you all excited for the convention.
